Luther College seeks to appoint a dynamic and innovative Director of Student Engagement & Metrics responsible for fostering student learning growth and engagement across the student lifecycle.
Demonstrating significant educational expertise and experience, the Director of Student Engagement & Metrics will oversee the co-curricular programs in collaboration with co-curricular leaders to create opportunities for student engagement, and breadth and depth in learning, ensuring all experiences are deeply connected to curriculum and educational purpose, and work in synergy with academic pursuits. The role works closely with the Director of Teaching & Learning to drive a proactive approach to data analytics, visualisation and storytelling that will enhance learning outcomes and engagement for students. This work importantly supports the achievement of our strategic target to embed data-informed practices that enhance contemporary teaching and learning.

About the role
As an integral member of the Executive Leadership Team, you are a visionary leader in education passionate about driving excellence in teaching and learning. You are a flexible and adaptable individual who recognises the critical importance of student engagement and the use of data and metrics to improve student outcomes.
A highly motivated and experienced professional, you will support our strategic goals and targets by leading the use of data analytics and metrics to improve student outcomes. This work will inform the design of high quality, engaging, and inclusive educational programs that further enhance student engagement. Your track record of developing educational frameworks and fostering a culture of continuous improvement will equip you for this pivotal role.
You are a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, having an awareness of your impact on all community members to intuitively meet cultural and stakeholder needs. Your ability to support, empower and build capacity in others will be a key element in your success in this role.
