At Luther we believe in providing our students with learning that really matters to them and to their future.Luther College seeks the services of an experienced science Laboratory Technician to join the team in an ongoing, part time capacity, commencing in Term 3, 2021 (ASAP).The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience and understanding of correct procedures for preparing, handling, storing and disposing of chemicals and other scientific material. You will support teaching staff with practical activities in the classroom and will therefore require working knowledge of chemistry, biology, physics, laboratory, and safety practices. The successful candidate must have excellent planning and time management skills, and the flexibility to work as part of a team or with autonomy.The Laboratory Technician will be required to work Monday to Friday, for a total of 29.5 hours per week. Hours of work may be negotiated with the successful candidate.
